SALMON CASTING TUITION
Beginners
Casting tuition will look at:
- Health & safety
- What tackle to be used
- How to hold the rod and the correct stance
- Basic Casts, Roll casts, Overhead casts, Change of direction casts.,Single Spey
- Basic Knots
- Fly selection and Water temperature
Casting tuition lasts for 2 hours (minimum) or 4 hours.
You may wish to book a days salmon fishing with casting tuition
Advanced
Casting tuition will look at::
- Health & safety
- Make sure the tackle is suitable
- Advanced Casts
- Single Spey of both shoulders, Double Spey of both shoulders
- Snake roll cast, Overhead casts of both shoulders
- Sunk line
- Advanced Knots
- Leader and fly selection
Casting tuition lasts for 2 hours (minimum),4 hours or full day.
You may wish to book a days salmon fishing with casting tuition.
TROUT CASTING TUITION
Beginners
Casting tuition will look at::
- Health & Safety
- What tackle to use and how to use it
- Grip, stance, rod & line control
- Basic casts for the beginner
- Overhead cast, change of direction casts, roll cast.
- How to hook a fish and unhook a fish
- Learn basic Knots
- Basic Entomology
- And a whole lot more through the session
Casting tuition lasts for 2 hours (minimum) or 4 hours.
You may wish to combine a half days fishing or a full days fishing
Advanced
Casting tuition will look at::
- Health & safety
- Advance Casts, Overhead casts, Presentation casts, Double haul
- Curve casts, Change of direction casts, Spey casts, Distance cast.
- Entomology
- Learning what flies to use
- Learn what knots use
Casting tuition lasts for 2 hours (minimum) or 4 hours.
You may wish to combine a half days fishing or a full days fishing
