SALMON FISHING COURSES
Two & three day coiurses through the year covering:
- Safety on the river and the country code
- Tackle, setting up the rod, line and leader
- Fly selection
- Casting technique
- Overhead casts, Roll casts, Single Spey, Double Spey
- How to mend the line
- How to use a sunken line
- Look at other casts like Snake roll, Snap T, Circle cast
The course will start at 9am stop for lunch at 1pm till 2pm then fish till 5pm
FLY FISHING COURSE FOR BROWN TROUT & GRAYLING
One day courses for Beginners covering:
- Safety on the river and the country code
- Selecting the right tackle for the days fishing
- Basic Entomology (the study of insects)
- Casting: Basic overhead casts, Change of direction casts, Basic roll casts
- Nymph fishing (a nymph is an iimmature form of an insect)
- Dry fly fishing
The course will start at 9am stop for lunch at 1pm till 2pm then fish till 5pm
FOR THE MORE ADVANCED ANGLER
Two and three day courses covering:
- Safety & the country code
- Advanced Entomology
- Overhead casts, Change of direction
- Curve casts
- How to mend the line
- Fishing heavy bugs
- Dry fly fishing
- Nymph fishing
Fishing permits supplied. Fishing tackle, Waders, Lifejacket, wading staff can all be supplied if required
Accommodation can also be arranged
